Dr. Snyder is currently an Assistant Professor of Adult and Higher Education at the University of Oklahoma. Prior to his appointment at OU, he completed his doctoral degree at the University of Kentucky in Higher Education with an emphasis in educational policy and quantitative methods. As a former student-athlete, Dr. Snyder has served on the SAAC and has worked with academic colleges and athletic departments at a variety of levels. His primary interests are to investigate the impact of social media, academic fraud, and educational programming in college athletics. He has published in several scholarly journals including the Journal of Issues in Intercollegiate Athletics, the Journal of Law and Sport, and the Journal of Contemporary Athletics. He will be releasing his first book titled: College Athletes’ Rights and Well-Being: Critical Perspectives on Policy and Practice in the summer of 2016.
